Boho Dancer

The Danish folk-pop trio was formed in 2009 with Ida Wenøe at the center of the group as lead singer and songwriter. Together with its naked simplicity, the emotional and dark tones of Boho Dancer gives the music a “melancholic Nordic vibe” as the band describes their music.

Boho Dancer has played at the major Danish festivals Northside, Skanderborg (now SmukFest) and the highly acclaimed Danish showcase festival; SPOT Festival. The trio has also played as support for the legendary Danish rock band Sort Sol. In 2011, the group won the unsigned bands award hosted by Danish National Public Radio (DR).

In their home country, Boho Dancer’s enchanting folk-pop has gained them a noticeable following, while also receiving much international attention for their latest album “Gemini” from 2013.
