Homesick Hank
The story about Homesick Hank sets out in the Swedish woods back in 2004. Songwriter Kudre Haan invited a handful
of his best drinking pals and fellow musicians to join him on a trip to his 1800 century woodenhouse.
But in addition to the ”bring a bottle party” all should bring their instruments and recording gear. The party went on for
two weeks and when they returned the band Homesick Hank was formed and their first album ”Hey” was a done deal.
Since then the band has released three more albums – including guest performances from Will Oldham aka Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Mary Gauthier and Catherine Irwin (Freakwater).
It has been 10 years since the last album ‘Beautiful Life’ was released but March 13 2026 the new album ‘Neon Night’ is soon ready for launch. First single – title song ‘Neon Night’ feat. Amy Boone from acclaimed americana band The Delines was released November 28 and album is our March 13th 2026.
