Yör Releases Longing Love Ode ‘venter venter’

Danish indie-pop band Yör returns is now out with their new single ‘venter venter’, a synth-driven love ode full of longing, taken from their upcoming album. The single captures the emotional rhythm of waiting for love through the seasons, carried by frontwoman Marie Kildebæk’s crystal-clear vocals and the band’s signature dreamy yet powerful sound.

“Both in happy and sorrowful memories, there is room for love. And no matter what your loved one is going through, you will always wait for them. You will stand in the biting cold, you will bake in the sun, you will be blown away with the autumn leaves, and you will catch spring fever for this person—because you know you are waiting for the best thing in life: the one you love”, Marie says about the theme of the song.

Known for their raw, heartfelt indie-pop, Yör broke through with the acclaimed debut ‘intet så rigtigt’ in 2023 and were named Band of the Year by Den Uafhængige in 2025. Their spellbinding live shows have sold out venues like Lille Vega and taken them to Roskilde Festival, Heartland, and Smukfest.

Besides playing a handful of summer festivals, Yör will hit the road again in fall 2025, with stops including Train, Posten, Skråen and Store Vega.
