The Blue Van

The Blue Van – “Out Of My Head” – out now!

Since 2004, The Blue Van has been touring across the world with their
modern take on garage and blues rock. In between touring – having
played more than 200 shows in the U.S. alone and close to 2000 in total –
they have also released seven critically acclaimed albums.
Now, they’re back with Out Of My Head, the first single from their
upcoming eighth studio album, which will celebrate their 30th
anniversary as a band – still playing together with the same original
lineup as when they first took the stage at age 14 back in 1996.
The album, set for release in January 2026, will feature only brand-new
original songs.

With their signature authentic and gritty sound, Denmark’s uncrowned
rock princes tackle a modern affliction on their new single – one that
music, among other things, serves as a remedy for. The tendency to
overthink, to lose touch with our bodies and the world around us,
forgetting to connect with our fellow human beings.
The duality of the title reflects, on one hand, the indecisiveness that can
spiral out of control when our thoughts start racing – being mad, losing
oneself in a whirlwind of overthinking. But on the other, it expresses a
literal desire to escape one’s own mind. And is there a better prescription
for that than pure, unfiltered rock?
