Erik Apollo releases debut EP

Erik Apollo has released 4 singles during 2023 and 2024 under the name P.t., and now he is stepping out as a solo artist under his own name.

Known for being the lead singer in the critically acclaimed band, TÅRN, Erik has already left a strong mark on the Danish music. Since 2016 her has released three full-length albums and two EPs with TÅRN, providing hits such as “Solskin Over Tage” and “Den, Som Alting Drejer Om”. Erik’s ability to combine widely appealing melodies with captivating lyrics in a unique artistic pop-rock universe has always been his hallmark, which clearly shines through on the 5 tracks on the now released  EP .

The EP features very personal, and musically exploratory songs, created in close collaboration with producer and bass player Larle Damsgård. The range of the EP stretches from more introspective ballads, like the gripping, melodic “Digter” and the shimmering atmospheric gem “Tys Tys” – to the expressive and extroverted swinging “Blå Mand” – a powerful “screw-you” song about being in a toxic relationship. Additionally, the EP offers a nostalgic reflection on “Danny” – a song dedicated to an old friend, whom he thought he had lost… Gaffa has rewarded the EP’s qualities with a great 5-star review.

With support shows for acts like Barselona, Erik Apollo has already played several venues on his own, and we look forward to unveiling many more live activities and new releases in the near future.
