Bite The Bullet releases “The Last Rave”
Bite The Bullet from Copenhagen is not just a rock band. Since 2013, they have blended their riff-driven rock sound with electro beats, and this time, they’ve added a generous dose of rave energy.
The band consists of lead singer Thomas Storgaard Christiansen, guitarist and drummer Paw Eriksen, and bassist and synth player Christian Norup. Acting almost as a fourth member is producer Søren Christensen (The Blue Van), who has both co-written the songs and co-produced the EP’s five tracks.
Their discography includes four full-length albums and one EP: Bite The Bullet (2013), Wheels (2015), Can Be Anything (2017), Joy (EP, 2019), and Vices (2021). Now, they are once again releasing new music — and for good reason. On The Last Rave, Bite The Bullet explores a more extravagant parallel universe, where experimentation takes center stage. You can clearly hear the band’s rock roots, but they are by no means stuck in tradition. Instead, they add new layers to their electrified rock sound.
There’s a sense of vastness, an expansive soundscape, and a level of intensity as high as the Tower of Babel. Not all individual voices are immediately understandable, but together they make sense on a deeply existential level. This is the raw language of rave, speaking directly to the primal human inside us. With a good dose of humor and playfulness, The Last Rave is an irresistible affair of seductive gimmicks, where strong songwriting and melody serve as the essential foundation for all the experimentation.
Over the years, Bite The Bullet has toured extensively across Europe, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and most notably Spain, where they will return for a tour in the fall of 2025. Denmark is also on the itinerary this time, with live concerts in February.
