Anti-misogyny song out from your favorite rock band
As Nina Simone said: “Reflect the times” – and this is exactly what the band has
done on their coming album that also marks their 30 years together with the same
original lineup they first took the stage with back in 1996.
The album spans everything from love songs to freedom (“KYLO”), to a
tribute to the beautiful diversity among people – and the right to freely
express one’s gender identity (“Beautiful Human”) – to personal stories of
loss, addiction, and love (“Real Gone”, “Missed Calls” and “Hold Me”).
On the current single “Some Boys” the band sounds the battle cry
against the growing misogyny among young men.
The Blue Van considers themselves the people’s rock orchestra – even if
they don’t fill Parken or Royal Arena. A band shaped on small, intimate
rock stages at home and abroad – and it is exactly there they are in their
element: at eye level with the audience.
Already in December, The Blue Van can be experienced live, as they
play four concerts ahead of the album release. Here, the audience will
even have the opportunity to secure the album on vinyl before anyone
else.
