New single from IDA KUDO
Today IDA KUDO releases the new and powerful single ‘Paradise’, where she invites the listeners into her own universe.
“The song is written with a great splash of irony; a landscape that’s dry and deserted, full of rain, thunder and storm – where we dance on our worn-out feet. The song is basically about breaking with the society’s need for order and correctness and accepting that in my own inner landscape there’s major changes in the weather and lots of conflicts, but it’s still my fuel as a musician and therefore my paradise.”
The detailed production was made in Berlin in cooperation with the producer Paul Brenning and the elegant and contrast-filled production shows that IDA KUDO is a strong, relevant and unique voice in music.
2019 has been a good live-year for IDA KUDO, with two shows on Reeperbahn Festival at packed venues. Besides from that, she has also performed in both Berlin and London on the Ja Ja Ja showcase and has done a liveshow on the German radio station DLF-Nova i Köln along with two support shows for the one and only Sting on two open-air concerts in Austria this summer.
With ‘Paradise’ IDA KUDO has created a single that encapsulates much of the same energy as can be found in her liveshows.
